Powertrain
A lift truck has to be really tough to last for many hours of heavy use within extreme environments. These machines have to be able to move loads fast and efficiently while still being ergonomic to the operator. The reliable, rugged Yale powertrain provides excellent durability through its computer controlled transmission and engine, really robust gears and shafts and state of the art clutch pack. The transmission, engine, drive axle and steer axle are all isolated so as to reduce vibration and noise in the operator's compartment.
Electrical
The electrical system of the lift truck is responsible for connecting the major nerve centers of the truck. Hence, the electrical system within the lift truck must be really durable and reliable for the most demanding dry/wet and hot/cold operations. There is much sophistication required in order to control truck functionality.
Delivering dependable electronics are a well-known hallmark of all Yale trucks. The Yale CANbus electrical system uses digital technology and reduces electrical connections and reduces wiring as well. This results in improved dependability and remarkable serviceability.
Hydraulics
The hydraulics are the forklift's "muscles". They provide the necessary force needed to raise heavy loads during the entirety of a long shift. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic components. Several of these components include: leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, heavy-duty hydraulic valves, long lasting tilt and hoist cylinders, and fine micron filters. The control valve has been strategically placed in order to prolong component life by minimizing exposure to heat sources.
The Yale forklift could withstand the most extreme working conditions coming out on top with their great reliability. These machinery have been built in such a precise manner that attention to detail has been taken into consideration in order to keep the operator as comfortable as they could be.
