Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production ever since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer different optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you complete your requirements, whilst being efficient and safe at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you require.
The Future
Many attachments have been designed and made in order to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible. Booms, winches and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to position materials in a more precise way. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures in order to place loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. New products and attachments are being designed and developed all the time and will debut in the future.
Many improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for example, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled as opposed to depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the extension of the boom and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
