Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck offering great height and versatility. The crane, or arm, is called a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the load to great heights. Standard forklifts aren't able to move the load towards and away from the cab of the forklift, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in both construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is necessary.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are better in situations needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which enable the operator to use uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It comes with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems which don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform designed specially to raise employees. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a strap or chain which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the worker's safety harness.
