Designed for Safety
Yale has a great history for offering safe lift trucks which are suitable for a range of applications. The ability to produce and design models for improved safety comes from the new technology which is available in the company's experience and the material handling industry.
Yale likes to integrate new technology which is available into their latest designs. Several of the new technologies which are available are first applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through functionality and durability testing. The company performs various controlled field tests and reliability development in order to ensure their products are really safe.
To be able to improve overall safety, Yale has engineered and developed lots of new features, that have been integrated on a lot of models like:
Operator Compartment Controls and Ergonomics
The ergonomics within the operator compartment as well as the controls are made with state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to guarantee that the operator avoids fatigue and heavy repetitive motions. These extra comforts help to increase overall efficiency.
Adjustable Operators Compartment and Controls
Having adjustable operator's controls and compartments enables the necessary controls to be able to be positioned near a huge array of operators. This helps make the equipment user friendly, regardless of who is operating it. Before starting their shift, the operator can make sure he or she is as comfortable as possible.
Operator Presence System
The Operator Presence System prevents the hydraulic system operation from being used if the operator is not in the right operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on IC engine truck units.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the liquid propane gas tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the natural handling position of the operator making the tank easier to change.
